    Clipy now keeps itself up to date.

    What's new

    • Updates from inside the app. When a new version comes out, Clipy asks if you want it and shows what changed. Pick Update, Later or Skip this version.
    • Source button in the update prompt, to see exactly what code changed before you install it.
    • Check for updates in Settings › About, plus a switch to turn automatic checks off.
    • Updates are signed. Clipy only installs an update made by its developer.

    Good to know

    • Clipy checks git.madebydomo.com when it starts and every 6 hours. Nothing about you is sent.
    • Updating restarts Clipy, so the last few seconds it was holding start over.
    • If you have 0.1.0, download this version from the website once. After that, updates come to you.

    The first release of Clipy, a lightweight replay clipper for Windows.

    Download Clipy_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe below and run it. It installs for your user only (no admin needed) and comes with everything it needs, ffmpeg included.

    What it does

    • Keeps the last stretch of your screen in memory and saves it as a clip with one hotkey, or by saying a phrase you pick.
    • Records a whole monitor or just one app.
    • Separate Desktop and Mic audio tracks in every clip.
    • Names clips after the game you're playing: Steam, Epic, Valorant, Minecraft, and the exact Roblox experience with its icon.
    • Library with favourites and albums, trimming, and a copy button on every clip.
    • Export presets (Discord-sized MP4, HEVC, GIF) plus audio-only export as MP3 or WAV.
    • Screenshots, a custom save sound, a storage limit, and pausing while you're away or the screen is locked.
    • Uses your GPU encoder (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel) and falls back on its own if something doesn't work.

    Requirements

    Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
